Albuquerque Turkey
by B. P. Ford
I Thought this would be a fun book to start the November books off with. I'm originally from New Mexico so that is probably why this one caught my eye.
Albuquerque is a turkey.
And he’s feathered,
And he’s fine…
(sing to the tune of “My Darling Clementine”)
This is a heartwarming story about the friendship between a man and his pet turkey. As the Thanksgiving gets closer Albuquerque starts to get nervous. Will he end up as dinner? You better check it out to see.
What are some of your favorite Thanksgiving books or books about fall. Let me know so I can check them out and post about them.
