Well the reason I started the books off with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is because when I was a little girl my parents would ask me what songs I would like them to sing me before going to bed, well I guess for me Rudolph wasn't seasonal. I asked them to sing it all year long. So, I thought I would start off with a book about my favorite little Reindeer. You all know the story, who can resist it?

A favorite around here is "The Polar Express." Also, "The Night Before Christmas," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," and "The Christmas Orange" - I'm not sure of the title since I wrapped it for Sophie and it's under the tree. There's also "The First Christmas" that is a good illustration to little ones of the reason we celebrate Christmas and a good summary of the story of Christ's birth. Thanks for sharing all these books. I'll have to try to find some of them. We love Christmas books around here. That Albuquerque Turkey book looks cute too. I love this time of year.
